A warm welcome awaits you, from hosts Peta and Anthony; frequently greeted as you emerge from your car, stretch, and begin to look around and absorb that special ambience that comes with over 300 years of pastoral, tranquil history. 'This house smiles at you' said one guest, summing up what all feel. After a tour of house and garden you will feel instantly at home. Your comfortable and well-appointed room will be as warm as your welcome, and will have either a four poster or a luxurious king size bed. [Twins are available]. Relax there, or alternatively take tea in the delightful drawing room or on the garden terrace. Lazily your gaze will traverse spacious lawns to our horses; grazing contentedly in their paddocks beyond. This is one of the foremost Country House hotels in the County, set in 12 magnificent Oxfordshire acres. Everything here is exceptional. Outstanding bedrooms, delicious food, warm hospitality and that rarest of assets these days; tranquillity. Simply the most perfect hotel anywhere said one ecstatic guest. The cuisine, is British, imaginative in style and presentation, with all vegetables grown in the walled kitchen garden. Recently awarded a rosette by the AA, and a gourmet guide said probably one of the best hotel restaurants in the County Fallowfields is an ideal base from which to tour the surrounding countryside, being close to Stratford, Bath, the Cotswold, Stonehenge and Bristol to the North and West, Oxford, Henley, the Chilterns and Windsor to the East. Heathrow is an hour away. Ten beautiful bedrooms and outstanding food, make Fallowfields ideal for executive retreats, or, small training/management meetings. Two rooms, one seating 14, the other for boardroom-style meetings up to 25 or theatre-style 60. Do ask if our falconer is available to help you create that lunch break with a difference.
