The hotel is within walking distance of York railway station, York Minster and The Shambles. At The Grange Hotel we have three dining possibilities to offer you. THE IVY RESTAURANT The menu is a mixture of classic French and modern British. There is a carefully chosen range of wines from throughout the world. The elegant and award winning restaurant has an established reputation within the major guide books as one of the very best in the North of England. SEAFOOD BAR Enjoy some of the freshest fish and seafood in the county with a glass or two of chilled champagne in this unique restaurant. THE BRASSERIE converted from the old brick vaulted cellars, its unique charm and informality complements the light gourmet dishes and interesting wines at reasonable prices. The Brasserie opens lunchtime and early in the evening for dinner, making it an ideal venue for pre-theatre suppers.
