The hotel, fully refurbished in December 2004, offers a tasteful ambience & decor, perfect for that overnight stop or 'night before flight' stop-over. All rooms offer en-suite bath & shower, with all fully redecorated & refurbished bedrooms offering hot drinks caddy, trouser press, hairdrier and SKY TV. The hotel offers a selection of rooms including standard family (sleeping 2a & 2c). Welcome Break also launch their 'EXECUTIVE room' offering air conditioned rooms with large business desk, overhead lamp, in-room iron & board, in-room mini fridge and energy pack. The hotel also offers 'Superior rooms' ideal for those needing to work away: these rooms offer a larger work space area & laptop safe. Opening offer available with Executive Air-Con rooms at only 85.00 - subject to availability. The price per room is the total price, we do not charge per person. A standard family room starts from 69 - that's less than 20 each for a family of four. The hotel also offers a 24-hour reception with FREE parking for all guests. A freephone taxi line is also available at reception. Reception also offers a modem connector socket and a selective selection of retail, along with a comfortable lobby area. Additionally the reception and selected bedrooms are BT OPENZONE-enabled for customers with wi-fi enabled PC's. The hotel, like all Welcome Break owned hotels & Lodges, is AA aproved and AA pet friendly approved (featured in the AA Pet Friendly guide 2005). Welcome Break Service Area facilities include KFC, Burger King, Food Connection & Coffee Primo lounge. The Red Hen waitress restaurant also offers an all day freshly-cooked breakfast. There is also a Gamezone, 24-hour autobank services, tourist information, shops and a 24 hour forecourt to keep all the family entertained. Just 4 miles from Stansted's main terminal building, the Days Inn Hotel London Stansted is ideal for accessing the airport. The beautiful Hertfordshire countryside is not far away: some of the many places of interest include Stansted Castle and Toy Museum, just two miles away, and Hatfield Forest, four miles away.
